(January 2016) Poetry From The Cud:
Earth's Wobble
Stanley Harrison

What once was
No longer is
What now is
Soon will not be

Sun’s dance on nascent waves
Moon’s marble path on onyx sea
Cricket, bee, cicada call
Fall’s fiddle scrapes
The burnished air

Sky’s loom lays out
Grey woollen shrouds
Dots earth again with frozen stars
